Hey there everyone.
So, I have finished my internship at minds eye creative and I have to say that the experience was very enlightening (Pun Intended.) XD
One of the things that I have learnt I need to do is to practice my are every day while at the same time, be able to gain some cash.
So I have decided to start doing commissions and freelance work here. I have a huge stockpile of requests that I have neglected for years and I will be contacting those people to see If they still want me to do them, only this time for a price.
I'm very new to making actual money here so if you guys could give me some pointers as to how I can do that, I would be very grateful.
Finally, during my internship, I discovered that I need to improve my gesture drawing and poses as up to this point, my characters, although detailed, have been very flat and static in their posture and poses. The way that I will be improving this is by drawing people and models in a variety of interesting positions (If you guys know of any sites of pages I can go to for this, please let me know). This can be difficult to master and some artists have to base their drawings off of models because of this.
This leads into the question I will leave to you guys. If I make a drawing based of of a models gesture, does it take away from my creative credit because I am basing my drawing off something else?
What do you guys think? I look forward to exchanging some thoughts on this.
Hope you all have a fantastic day.
Thanks for reading.

My first commissions are open!
Hay All! Its been a while.
So as some of you may know, I recently opened up to the idea of doing commissions.
The reasons for doing this were born out of necessity.
Firstly, I need to start earning my own money so I can stop sponging off my parents.
Secondly, I wish to get in some more experience and practice with different art styles and concepts.
Thirdly, to expand my portfolio.
Fourthly, to give myself a disciplined deadline for completing work
and finally, for my health.
For a while now, I've been stuck in this endless cycle of hating my self for not creating and feeling too down to create anything. With this, I wish to try break

Hope you all had an amazing holiday and awesome new years.
So just a quick update.
I did my first week of interning at an awesome animation company called Minds Eye Creative.
They have been working on a really cool animated series staring a family of five. I don't think I can say any more. :iconshhhplz:
I have learnt quiet a lot from them, especially the character designer and animator Ryan. He taught me about the theory and fundamentals of character design and animation that have been on the tip of my tongue since i started drawing. Now thanks to Minds Eye, I can start taking my work to th

Hay Everyone
Its been ages and ages since I've been back here. University has eaten up most of my time.
But now that I've basically finished my final year and I'm about to enter the job market, I thought I could update all you lovely people on what I have planned for the coming weeks.
First off, the final assignment in university was to craft and showcase my portfolio for one of my subjects.
Having done that, I'm gonna post all of it here for all to enjoy. I gave out the address to this profile to everyone who attended the showcase so they can come by and have a look at my work. You you are one of these lovely people, please look at my Ga
Gravity Man Experiment Day 5-10
Well, Here I am, on the last day of my project and the conclusion of my experiment.
I have learnt much within these past 10 days, things about the world, society and indeed myself.
First, a quick recap on what happened after day 5.
As you know, I went on a trip with my family to celebrate my moms 50th birthday.
We went to a lodge in the mountains and I slept like a baby all the way there.
I have found that I always have a constant level of fatigue no matter what I do.
We unloaded and had a few drinks in the freezing cold night.
The next day, we explored the town that kind of reminded me of South Park and I gathered some gifts to bring
